Good fit for processing relationship trauma

I understand that infidelity can involve a profound sense of loss. Even when a relationship continues, you may grieve the trust, security, or future you believed you had. These experiences can also affect your self-esteem, emotional well-being, and ability to feel connected to others.

As Birch Psychology's Program Director of Adult and Couples Services, I bring an integrative approach to therapy that draws from attachment theory, trauma-informed care, existential and humanistic perspectives, and depth psychology. My work emphasizes the importance of a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship.

I believe that having space to explore difficult emotions without judgment can help people better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives. I also have extensive experience working with grief, trauma, and life transitions, which can be particularly relevant when you're navigating the emotional aftermath of betrayal.
