Good fit for doctors facing relationship challenges

As Birch Psychology's Clinical Lead for Couples Therapy, I have a particular interest in helping people understand the patterns that shape their relationships, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. My approach emphasizes exploring the deeper experiences that influence how we relate to ourselves and others.

For physicians who spend much of their time meeting others' needs, it can become difficult to recognize or communicate their own. I use psychodynamic, intersubjective, and EMDR approaches to help clients explore longstanding patterns, process difficult experiences, and strengthen their personal relationships. Whether you're feeling disconnected from your partner or struggling to maintain a sense of identity outside medicine, I aim to help you better understand yourself and what you need from your relationships.

  • Credentials: Licensed Clinical Psychologist

  • Specialties: Relationship challenges, self-esteem, trauma, grief, identity, life transitions, couples therapy.
