Jenna Hiljus, PsyD is a prelicensed postdoctoral psychology fellow committed to providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment for adolescents (ages 13+) and adults.

Jenna is especially passionate about providing 2SLGBTQIA+-affirming and neurodiversity-affirming care, and serving individuals from historically and systematically excluded communities. She has experience working with interpersonal, developmental, and complex trauma, anxiety, eco-anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), identity development, and relational and attachment concerns.

Jenna earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from George Fox University’s Graduate School of Clinical Psychology. She completed her predoctoral internship at Colorado State University Health Network, where she received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed post-hospitalization care, interpersonal violence, and the assessment and treatment of OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She also has experience conducting psychological assessments for a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, learning disorders, and personality assessment.

Jenna believes every individual deserves care that is personalized and collaborative. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy and is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. She strives to create a culturally responsive, decolonized therapeutic environment where clients feel safe and supported to move towards their goals and step into their authentic self. Jenna draws from an integrative framework, incorporating interventions from Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic therapies to meet each client's unique needs.
