Hannah is a master’s student at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology, specializing in Global Mental Health and Trauma. Originally from South Africa, Hannah brings a cross-cultural lens to her clinical work and is committed to fostering connection, safety, and transformation across the lifespan.
Hannah has experience supporting children (particularly neurodiverse children ages 2–6), adolescents, teens, adults, and couples through challenges related to trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, attachment wounds, and relational patterns. Her clinical foundation is rooted in lifespan development, with particular attention to early childhood attachment, emotional validation, and the development of secure relationships with emotions. She supports children and families in building regulation, safety, and trust through attuned and developmentally grounded care.
Drawing from somatic experiencing, Gestalt therapy, internal family systems (IFS), psychodynamic theory, and attachment-based approaches, Hannah integrates a mind-body lens into her work—paying close attention to the gut-brain axis, nervous system regulation, and polyvagal theory. Her interest in health psychology informs her belief in the body’s innate wisdom and its role in healing emotional distress.
Hannah approaches therapy with a blend of gentle curiosity and clear direction. She is collaborative and grounded, attuning to each client’s unique needs while offering structure, insight, and presence. She approaches therapy as a structured, yet compassionate space designed to support emotional exploration, nervous system regulation, and personal growth.
