Dr. Rosen is a licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology and her Master’s degree in Child Development and Human Study from Tufts University. Dr. Rosen provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, as well as assessment services to individuals of all ages.
Dr. Rosen’s warm, relational approach therapy is particularly beneficial for those who are new to treatment. She practices from a primarily psychodynamic perspective and integrates mindfulness-based, acceptance, and cognitive-behavioral techniques as appropriate. Dr. Rosen finds value in supporting clients to understand how past experiences influence current behaviors.
General areas of clinical focus include anxiety, depression, stress management, burnout, self-acceptance, relational concerns, and life transitions. She particularly enjoys supporting adolescents and young adults through major life transitions (ex. graduating high school/college, early career development, and parenthood), with a focus on values clarification, resilience, and managing overwhelm.
Dr. Rosen is well attuned to the needs of women experiencing challenges during pregnancy and postpartum, including adjustment to new parenthood and its impact on identity, relationships, and emotional well-being. She frequently works with adolescents navigating friendship dynamics, identity development, and parent-teen conflict related to increasing autonomy. In addition, Dr. Rosen is effective in working with high-functioning adults in demanding professional roles who are seeking greater work-life balance, stress reduction, and alignment with personal values and priorities.
Dr. Rosen has extensive experience conducting psychological assessment in hospital, research, private practice, and community mental health settings. She is particularly adept at using collaborative approaches to make sense of the data in a way that is accessible, practical, and deeply meaningful to her clients.
Dr. Rosen is available for in-person appointments in Colorado, and telehealth appointments in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, MP, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY.
