Meet Dr. AJ

Dr. Franzetti is a doctoral-level mental health clinician. He works with a wide variety of presenting issues, including interpersonal/relational concerns, Latino/a mental health, anxiety, trauma, depression, work-life balance, burnout, and life transitions. His therapeutic approach is integrative, depending on the needs of the individual client and their goals. He provides psychotherapy to adults and adolescents (15+) and psychological assessment services to adults. He currently works with individuals, couples, and groups.

Dr. Franzetti draws on evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Self-Compassion, mindfulness, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy. He strongly values offering culturally-sensitive and diversity-affirming therapy, and is continually striving to honor his clients’ diverse identities.

He loves helping people identify their “stuck” points and make lasting changes to improve their experiences personally, at work, in school, and in their relationships. He enjoys joining others on their journey to positive change and witnessing them achieve more fulfilling lives.

Dr. Franzetti earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University. He has a master’s degree in Counselor Education and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
