Camden Jordan is a third-year doctoral student at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Originally from North Carolina, Camden’s passion for accessible, community-centered mental health care grew from her experiences in rural communities with limited resources. She values acceptance, collaboration, warmth, and encouragement in her therapeutic work, viewing therapy as a space for meaningful exploration and personal growth.
Drawing from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and Adlerian approaches, Camden integrates structured and insight-oriented interventions to support growth, resilience, and emotional regulation. Her previous training includes experience with psychological assessment, individual therapy, and neurofeedback in multiple practice settings. Her work is deeply influenced by the belief that each individual carries a distinct story and the ability to grow, grounded in the conviction that every person possesses inherent dignity and worth.
Camden works with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. She has a strong interest in supporting children navigating anxiety disorders and the effects of trauma, with focus on neurodivergent individuals. She also has experience supporting clients of all ages on challenges related to emotional regulation, identity, and relational dynamics.
