Ali is a master's level clinician trained in trauma-informed clinical psychology with a specialization in global mental health. Ali has supported diverse individuals with developmental and complex trauma, cultural assimilation, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, LGBTQIA+ identity, relational distress, and life transitions. Ali also has a dedication to serving the refugee and immigrant communities and has received training and worked closely with individuals seeking asylum in Colorado.

Ali employs an integrative approach to psychotherapy grounded in the belief that the mind and body are inextricably connected—to experience oneself fully, the two must coexist in harmony. Central to her philosophy is the idea that liberating and loving one's authentic self is the catalyst for growth and change. Ali couples the neuroscience of trauma with a psychodynamic approach to explore how the psychological and physical manifestations of development impact an individual's ability to exist authentically. Ali also utilizes theories such as intersubjective/ relational theory, internal family systems, attachment theory, and somatic experiencing. She is trained in trauma interventions such as Narrative Exposure Therapy and CPT.

Ali works with preteensteens, adults, and couples and believes connection is at the core of impactful therapeutic work. She strives to create genuine therapeutic relationships built on earned trust and honored individuality.
