All of Birch Psychology's clinicians provide pro bono or sliding scale rates, reserved for individuals and families that indicate a need for lower or no fee services. Furthermore, several clinicians within the practice accept medicaid health insurance.
For ongoing therapy, clinicians simply ask that individuals (on a sliding scale) reflect on, and indicate, a comfortable payment level. No proof of income is required. As an individual's situation changes, the rate for therapy may be adjusted by his/her request. Please not that sliding scale and pro-bono availability is limited. Each Birch clinician typically carries one to two sliding scale/pro-bono slots per week.
Other services within the practice can be adjusted to make them more affordable to individuals and families. This may be done by incorporating supervised clinicians in-training (within the practice) that can assist in the delivery of services (including for assessments). Availability of reduced fee services is dependent on clinician availability.
