Dr. Badwan is a licensed clinical psychologist who completed her post doctoral training in 2021 here at Birch. Her clinical work includes psychological assessment with children and adults in addition to traditional psychotherapy with adolescents and adults.  Dr. Badwan has an interest in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, family of origin issues, LGBTQ issues, cultural assimilation issues, trauma, and relationship problems. She utilizes insight-oriented traditional methods of therapy.

Dr. Badwan has trained in various clinical settings that have included schools, outpatient clinics, community mental health and private practice. The majority of her work has been with emerging adults (17-21) and adults in the areas of relationship issues, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Her graduate training has a specialized focus on psychological assessment with children and adults with an emphasis on learning disabilities and ADHD. Dr. Badwan can be reached at:
