Dr. Schriber is a doctoral-level mental health clinician. She works with a wide variety of presenting issues, including relational/interpersonal concerns, self-esteem, family of origin concerns, identity development, shame, grief/loss, life transitions, complex trauma, gender violence, and women's issues. She provides couples therapy and practices from an emotion-focused therapy lens to help couples work through concerns related to disconnection. Dr. Schriber provides psychotherapy to adults and adolescents (16+) and psychological assessment services to adolescents and adults. She currently works with individuals, couples, and groups.

Dr. Schriber's clinical approach is rooted in insight-oriented theories. She strives to create a collaborative, empathetic space for curiosity about emotions, thoughts, and conscious and unconscious narratives about oneself and the world. She specializes in helping individuals identify and work through unfulfilling relationship patterns that may keep them stuck from the intimacy and meaning making they crave in their lives. Clients can expect to work alongside Dr. Schriber to deepen an understanding of how behaviors that once kept them safe may no longer serve them, and consequently identify their authentic wants, needs, and desires. Utilizing psychodynamic, intersubjective, and interpersonal approaches to therapy, Dr. Schriber will aid clients in exploring what gets in the way of being present with themselves and others and, in doing so, alleviate distress and mental suffering.

Dr. Schriber earned her MA and PsyD in clinical psychology from the University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Denver Health and Counseling Center. Throughout her training, Dr. Schriber has worked in various clinical settings, including community mental health, grief counseling, private practice, inpatient psychiatric services, and college counseling. Dr. Schriber is available for speaking engagements and consultation and can be reached at hannah.schriber@birchpsychology.com and at 303.834.1026 ext. 10
