Dr. Rosen is a doctoral level mental health clinician licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of Colorado. She earned her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology and her Master’s degree in Child Development and Human Study from Tufts University. Dr. Rosen provides psychotherapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults. She currently works with individuals, parent/child dyads, couples, and families.

Dr. Rosen’s relational approach to therapy is particularly beneficial for those who are new to therapy and looking to improve emotional well-being and life satisfaction. She provides psychotherapy from a primarily psychodynamic perspective and integrates mindfulness-based and cognitive-behavioral techniques as appropriate. Her specialties include attachment-focused therapy aimed at helping individuals better understand how past experiences may influence current behaviors and social relationships.

Dr. Rosen’s areas of clinical focus include anxiety, stress management, mood disorders, family conflict, behavioral issues, self-acceptance, and relational issues. She is adept in supporting young adults as they adjust to increased responsibilities and stressors associated with transition periods (high school to college, young professionalism, marriage, parenthood). Dr. Rosen also offers interventions designed to improve communication and understanding between caregivers and children/adolescents. This includes PCIT, along with other forms of parent coaching designed to help caregivers feel more united and empowered in their parenting approach.

Throughout her graduate training, Dr. Rosen conducted therapy with individuals, families, and couples in homes, schools, private practice, and outpatient community mental health centers. She also conducted psychological and neuropsychological assessments in hospital, private practice, and community mental health centers. Dr. Rosen has experience providing corporate consultation regarding the benefits of mental health services for employees and ways to reduce stigma around mental health within the workplace. Dr. Rosen is available for speaking engagements and consultation and can be reached at: lindsay.rosen@birchpsychology.com and 303.834.1026 ext. 17
