He currently works with individuals, groups, and couples.

Dr. Larson-Konar has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in various settings, such as college counseling centers, outpatient mental health clinics, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. His approach relies on the warmth, authenticity, and power of the therapeutic relationship to help his clients construct more meaningful and empowering lives. Dr. Larson-Konar integrates various theories and therapies, including existential/humanistic theories, feminist theories, cognitive-behavioral theories, and mindfulness. Dr. Larson-Konar’s areas of clinical focus include anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, interpersonal/relationship issues, identity exploration, multicultural concerns, sex and sexuality, and LGBTQ+ issues. He has received specialty training in the treatment of OCD and in working with transgender and gender non-binary clients. Dr. Larson-Konar also has experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessment to clarify diagnoses, guide treatment, and to enable clients to access needed accommodations and resources. Dr. Larson-Konar is available for speaking engagements and consultation and can be reached at: dylan.larsonkonar@birchpsychology.com and 303.834.1026 ext. 23
