Jessica B. Geller, Ph.D., M.S.

Dr. Geller is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in health psychology. She primarily treats adults with anxiety, depression, and chronic medical conditions, helping to navigate life transitions in a manner consistent with patients’ values. She also specializes in helping patients and caregivers manage difficulties, which can accompany medical illness, such as role and identity changes, quality of life concerns, communication challenges, end-of-life discussions, and coping with grief and loss.

Dr. Geller’s clinical training has spanned outpatient clinics, schools, and hospital settings. She is experienced providing brief and long-term individual, couples, and group therapy and has specialty training in evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, insomnia and chronic pain. Dr. Geller also has an extensive research background in psychosocial oncology and has presented nationally at the American Psychosocial Oncology Society, Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and Society of Behavioral Medicine conferences.

Dr. Geller received her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Denver and completed her pre-doctoral internship in Behavioral Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. She received further specialty training through a post-doctoral fellowship in Health Psychology at the Denver Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Geller provides clinical and assessment services at Birch Psychology.
